Wedding Photography
I am a wedding and landscape photographer based in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland. My wedding photography has a cinematic, documentary feel.
Weddings are one of the first things I learned how to shoot almost two decades ago. My aim is to be a ghost at your wedding. Unseen, unheard. It is the only way I can capture the day as it was and is; rather than it become a directed photoshoot and ultimately, a huge distraction to enjoying your day. It is my strong belief that for most settings, true ‘reportage’ style photography produces the most dramatic imagery and stops your wedding becoming a contrived photoshoot full of posing and ultimately fabricated moments…like when photographer’s pull the bride and groom away for hours for posed pictures! Long after the music fades and the last piece of cake devoured; the only thing that remains will be the memories of the day. Photography is the most powerful memory of that day we can have.
